At Belong Wisconsin, we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of those most impacted by family separation, reducing barriers to participation, and working to ensure that our team reflects the families and communities we serve.

Free Year-round Programming

All of our year-round events are free of cost to our families. The cost of these events is covered through community sponsors, grants, and private donations & fundraising.

Sibling Camp Scholarships

The cost of a week at Sibling Camp is over $2,000 per camper. We do not turn any child away due to an inability to pay. Camper fees are sometimes covered by the child’s county DCF. If a camper is not currently involved with DCF or the county is unable to fund them, Belong Wisconsin provides scholarships in partnership with One Simple Wish campaigns, community sponsors, and corporate and private donations.

Board Member Sponsorship

Membership on a Board of Directors entails both a time commitment and a financial commitment. In an effort to amplify more voices of lived experience in our leadership, we provide the opportunity for donors to sponsor a Board seat for a member with lived experience. This initiative is our effort to reduce barriers for those who may not otherwise be able to participate in this way.

  • Our mission, vision, and WEAVE promise are centered on providing the best possible programs for the youth and families we serve. In order to do so, we must make deliberate efforts to center those with lived experience, amplify their voices, and advocate to reduce barriers every day.

  • Our goal is that any of our youth and families impacted by barriers can be a recipient of our equity programs. We are consistently seeking funding to sponsor these programs.
